Resumen
This book recounts in verse form the story of a princess who, upon her father's command, is left on in the wilderness to die as a baby, found and raised by a shepherd, wins the heart of the prince of another land, and flees to Sicily when the prince's father threatens to kill his son if he insists upon marrying a poor country girl. The king of Sicily turns out to be the princess's father, who has repented of his evil ways and welcomes his daughter and her husband to his kingdom.
