Summary
Yoyne, a Jew from Prague, spends his days studying, but he is unable to support his family. He goes away hoping to earn some money. Eventually he founds himself in a palace where a lonely princess, the daughter of the evil Asmodai, lives. She explains to him that he is in danger in the land of evil and the only way for him to save himself is to marry her. Yoyne marries the princess. Three weeks later, he has a dream that he is again a pious Prague Jew surrounded by his first wife and children. The princess notices his anguish and lets him leave for a short time only. Yoyne comes back and forgets about his promise. He doesn't want to go back to the princess. She allows him to divorce her, but on one condition: she will kiss him for the last time. After her last kiss Yoyne falls down dead. Publication Date 196-?
