Summary
This is the story of Flossy Tangleskein, who, while listening to a story of a magical teapot, wishes that she could become one herself. Her wish is granted, and she turns into a teapot who can only change back into a girl when the teapot is put over a fire with water in it to boil. She undergoes many transformations between that of a teapot and a little girl and travels between many different cultures before finally making it back home to America.
