Summary
The book consists of 2 stories. In the first story, "A lively family," a father, who works in a toy factory, is trying to invent a walking doll. He thinks about it day and night. His wife and children are very unhappy because he thinks too much about his work and doesn't take care of the family. Eventually, the father manages to make a walking doll and becomes very famous. The whole family is very proud of him.
