Summary
One night, on the way to a farm to steal some hens, a fox notices that there is no tail on his shadow on the wall. He goes ahead and steals a hen, but is caught by a watchdog who tears off his tail. The fox warns a female fox of the danger but his love for her overcomes his fear and he goes with her to the hen house - but this time he has no shadow on the wall!
