Summary
Glowworm shined at night in the jungle. Under the Glowworm's light the ladybird attended to her children; the snail read books; the spider weaved garments; and the butterfly painted. One day a hunter left his flashlight in the jungle. Now everyone, except for the faithful ugly grig, crowded around the flashlight for light at night. However, after several days the batteries in the flashlight went dead. Ashamed, everyone returned to Glowworm for light.
