Summary
Sepandarmaz was a guardian angel that protected earth. She was kind to the plains, to the mountains, to the birds, and to the people and hated war among men. She gave the herds green fields to graze, dug paths for rivers and took care of the earth and her inhabitants. But when Afrasiab, a wicked king, marched to Iran to conquer the country, Sepandarmaz encouraged King Manoochehr to fight back and she sent Arash, the Archer, to help him in the battle.
