Black Pencil wrote stories all the day, but his stories were dull and silly. Red Pencil always scolded Black Pencil. She told him to write well and stop wasting paper. But Black Pencil couldn't stop from writing. He wrote and wrote and grew shorter and shorter until he died a natural death. A mouse caught Red Pencil and chewed her to death before she could write her masterpiece.
