  Augie D. Rivera, Jr.
Augie Rivera has won the Palanca Award several times for children’s fiction in Filipino and English. His published titles include: "Ang Bata sa Basket" (The Baby in the Basket), "Sa Ilalim ng Dagat" (Under the Sea), "Ang Gintong Habihan" (The Golden Loom, Filipino Stories), "Kids Deserve a Smoke-Free World," "Alamat ng Ampalaya" (The Legend of the Bitter Gourd), and "Xilef." He is one of the founding members of KUTING (Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting), an organization for Filipino writers for children.
 
Kora D. Albano
Koran Dandan-Albano is a freelance illustrator. She finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting at the University of the Philippines. Among the books she has illustrated are the Adventures of Carancal and the Pilandok series.
