Augie Rivera Augie Rivera has won the Palanca Award several times for children’s fiction in Filipino and English. His published titles include: "Ang Bata sa Basket" (The Baby in the Basket), "Sa Ilalim ng Dagat" (Under the Sea), "Ang Gintong Habihan" (The Golden Loom, Filipino Stories), "Kids Deserve a Smoke-Free World," "Alamat ng Ampalaya" (The Legend of the Bitter Gourd), and "Xilef." He is one of the founding members of KUTING (Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting), an organization for Filipino writers for children. Marcus Nada Marcus Nada graduated in 1997 from the University of Santo Tomas with a Fine Arts Degree in Advertising. He just finished his first 35mm animated short film entitled "Propoganda #5" and illustrated a number of children’s books which includes the collaborative book "A Sea of Stories," and "Aray, Nasugatan Ako!" He is also a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabatann (Ang InK) and is currently Art Directory for GetAsia Philippines. He is also a member of the UST Mountaineering Club.
