Augie Rivera Augie Rivera has won the Palanca Award several times for children’s fiction in Filipino and English. His published titles include: "Ang Bata sa Basket" (The Baby in the Basket), "Sa Ilalim ng Dagat" (Under the Sea), "Ang Gintong Habihan" (The Golden Loom, Filipino Stories), "Kids Deserve a Smoke-Free World," "Alamat ng Ampalaya" (The Legend of the Bitter Gourd), and "Xilef." He is one of the founding members of KUTING (Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting), an organization for Filipino writers for children. Pepper Roxas Isabel "Pepper" Roxas is currently the secretary of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabattan (Ang INK). When not busy with her other duties, she paints walls, designs posters, illustrates for magazines and books, and sings to her pet goldfish Luna and Dementia. Says Pepper, "I live in a world of blue skies, pink clouds, orange seas, and good music where people topple over because of the sheer weight of their extremely large heads."
