The princess had a strange illness that nobody could cure. The doctor said the the princess would be cured by three magic citrons brought to her by a good man. The king proclaimed he would marry his daughter to the man who cured her. Bahman, a poor peasant, went to search for the citrons along with many others. The king was relunctant to marry his daughter to a poor peasant but Bahman performed several miracles and married the princess.
